How can a sports dietitian help me?

Nutrition has always been a popular topic, but never more-so than now. Whilst intentions of nutrition services are usually good, there is often misinformation and confusion around good sports nutrition.

An Accredited Sports Dietitian is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who has undergone further specialised education and training through the Sports Dietitians Australia. Sports Dietitians Australia is a network of qualified dietitians, with further training and practical experience in sports nutrition. Only an Accredited Sports Dietitian can support you to maximise sports performance in a safe and ethical way, in-line with the latest sports nutrition research.

An Accredited Sports Dietitian can help you:

  • Eat better without dieting

  • Increase energy levels, so you get the most out of your training or workouts

  • Avoid injuries to help you recover faster

  • Find solutions to improve your gut issues or food intolerances

  • Find the most suitable supplements for your needs

  • Manage body composition to achieve and sustain performance and minimise injury risk

  • Save time and money, avoid confusion and get things right the first time
